The concept for DevSparks revolved around creating an engaging and innovative environment that resonates with developers. Recognizing the young, energetic, and intelligent nature of the target audience, the event was designed with interactive elements such as a game corner, AI avatar photo booth, peg wall for networking, and aesthetically appealing booths. The event's branding incorporated developer-centric symbols like the " < > " code brackets, ensuring a visually cohesive and relevant experience. The design and activities aimed to foster a sense of community, learning, and fun, while also providing valuable networking and business opportunities.

Execution / Amplification

The planning phase began in April 2024, focusing on the event's look and feel. The main artwork featured the developers' code " < > " symbol. A variety of pre-function engagement ideas were curated to appeal to the developer audience.

1. Game Corner: Attendees jumped to pull tags from a 10-feet ceiling, winning merchandise like hoodies and mugs. The element of chance and the physical activity involved made it a huge hit.

2. Photo Booth: An AI avatar photo booth allowed attendees to transform into developer superheroes, providing both fun and memorable keepsakes.

3. Peg Wall: This space enabled attendees to share opinions, advice, and contact details, promoting networking.

4. Buzz Word Booth: Designed for audience feedback and photos, it drew attention with its attractive design.

5. Booth Spaces: Seven booths for major tech companies like Google Cloud and Akamai facilitated business networking and product showcases.

6. OLA Krutim Space: A designated area for showcasing OLA's new AI service, fostering engagement.

7. Stage Design: A major highlight, featuring a " < > " logo suspended from the ceiling and integrated LED screens, creating a visually stunning presentation area.
